We chose a different route after trying both conversion types of screens. Our 2.6 app is HUGE and it would take at least a year to rewrite it in VFP6/7. In the meantime it is being used by hundreds of sites. We chose instead to create a VFP6/7 app and bring in all of the 2.6 project except we brought in the .sprs instead of the screens. The app runs fine in VFP6/7 and as we update each screen to VFP6/7 forms as we go along with updates. All new screens are done in VFP.
