Thank you very much for correcting me. Now it works well, even thought I have the following references:
Microsoft ActiveX Data Object 2.6 Library
Microsoft ADO Ext. 2.5 for DDL & Security instead of 2.6
MDAC 2.6 is installed on my PC but Microsoft ADO Ext. 2.6 for DDL & Security doesn’t exist. Is it a problem?
The only inconvenient that I have the data divided in separate fields and what I want is to have all the row in one string field, because the data in my file is not delimited and every position of every letter is very important. Could you please advise me how I should do it to have all data in one string field? When I will install my application on the client PC, should the last have MS Access installed on his PC?
PS: the length of record is not fixed.
