Steve;
I get mine from Central Computer in Santa Clara. They have three locations in the Bay Area. At home I have four computers each with removable trays. These trays have a build in fan. Can you believe it for the price? At Fry's they cost more like $50. One thing I learned very early - label the tray. Now which tray goes to which computer and what is on it?
I also have one tray/hard disk for each client as well as backup. One shelf of my bookcase houses all the trays/drives.
I keep a spare drive which I format and use for testing all client software before installing at the clients site. So far I have never had to say, "Gee, in worked on my computer at home"! :)

>I don't think it runs in WinME, either. It requires NT technology. If a removeable drive bay is as cheap as Tom says ($14?) it would be a good way to go. I thought they cost more than that.

>>Well, all my IDE channels are in use right now, so I'll have to wait until my next PC purchase later this year to get some free hard drives.

>>Any of you notice that Microsoft doesn't mention it running on W98? Here's what they say: "The SDK runs on Windows® XP, Windows® 2000, and Windows NT® 4.0"

>>Maybe I just go back and learn some more Java in the meantime. :)
