Senerio:

Clients - (Parent) Contains over 40,000 records
Address - (Child) contains over 80,000 records
Address Type (Mail, Loction 1, 2, etc)

On one of my screens I use a combo-box. I only want to dislay the client name with it's Location 1 address.

When I use RowSourceType=SQL, it is very slow (especially for users on the terminal server.)

When I use a RowSourceType=view, it is still very slow.

When I use RowSourceType=fields, it is very fast. However, the fields does not allow joining of two tables.

My tempoary solution is creating a temp file containing the fields I need. However, this defeats the purpose of normilization.

Any Ideas?
