My question is specifically in reference to upgrading. I am supporting (rewriting portions) of a very complicated insurance application. The origional version was written in the early 1980's. Although many modules have been conveted to windows, there are still many that are still origional versions since it's MS-DOS version. I have found non of the converted modules truely taking advantage of OOP and are using older commands, functions.

Currently, I have everything running under VFP 6 sp4 and redesigning sections. I'm considering upgrading to VFP 7.

What are my advantages vs disadvantages, comments, etc?

Thanks,
Lee Roy
