The error is only in your assumption that there is an error - since you know hex, 1677215==0xffffff, so that is the maximal RGB value possible (full white). If you got an error there, it was because of the syntax - this.forecolor =
0xFF8001 is the way to use hex in VFP, otherwise VFP will look for a variable named FF8001, simply because it begins with a character. Albert has explained it better already.
