We are using phdbase with the following directives on the index (field is company in this example):

=phd("index on company, full, common, keep all, numbers, large")

Have you tried this combination?

BTW, I've just discovered a problem with phdbase indexed tables under VFP7 when I use TABLEUPDATE on a buffered edited record. My changes to the record are not saved! I confirmed that its a phdbase problem by deleting the phdbase index, whereupon the problem resolved itself. Have you struck this? What version of phdbase are you on? And how can I contact Jim if I can't find an answer to this?

We use phdbase with Accpacc Pro.
