Is there a Windows API that can be used to generate anti-aliased, shadowed, and/or 3D text effects? My goal is to be able to programmatically generate enhanced text effects similar to those used in the construction of web page buttons. Rather than manually build these type of buttons, I would like to be able to programmatically generate these type of buttons on the fly.

I am going to post a similar, non-API question under the Forms forum. Is this proper posting etiquette or is there a better way to handle posts that may apply across forums.
