If you run the Adobe Acrobat ActiveX control in a form and run the Adobe Acrobat viewer separately, when the Adobe Acrobat viewer is closed, the Adobe Acrobat ActiveX control simply disappears from the form.

The viewer behaviour is that of only ever instantiating a single instance of itself, but allowing the ActiveX control to instantiate itself whilst the viewer is running, or vice versa.

Before rethinking this aspect of the project has anyone any ideas?
