>Does anyone know if I can convert a Vfp 6.0 form to an ASP page easily?
Jeff;
Another link in addition to the fine suggestions already given is:
www.lespinter.comClick on Learning Center and go to ASP for FoxPro Programmers and Web Enabled Database Applications.
It might be a good idea to become familiar with ASP if you are going to do anything with it. There is a learning curve (what is new?) and you might take a peek at ASP NET. I would not suggest using ASP net at this time but it is nice to know what is there and about to be released.
Will this be for an Intranet or the Internet? For an Intranet you can use NT 4.0 (IIS 4.0), Windows 2000 (IIS 5.0) or Windows XP (IIS 5.1). If you use the Intrenet your provider (server) must support Windows IIS technology.
A short story: I had a provider who supported IIS (Windows NT 4.0) a few years ago. One fine Saturday morning I received an e-mail which was full of excitement, from my ISP. "We have converted to Linux ...". Good bye ASP! Good bye ISP! :)
