I already have a table in each client data folder that indicates who these data files belong to. I am using the unique code in that table to select the correct method for that client or whatever. My problem is making sure that when I open the project that the data folder contains the correct set of tables for the work I need to do.

I have not upgraded to VFP7 as yet, but I understand that there is a 'Project Hook' method in VFP7 that may be used to check the content of the setup table and display the unique code so that I can visually make sure I have the right tables.

I have not looked into the Abstract Factory situation but will do so.
