Terry, I couldn't actually get to your web site either. You may also want to consider using the DNS Server included with Win2K server on your web server. It works great and gives you a little bit more control over what's going on.
But, you may be right about re-installing IIS...
>>Terry, it looks like it's a web server problem since ping and nslookup to your domain seem to return good results. I guess you've tried using the http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 to access your web site locally? You may also want to check out the IIS console - is it using the standard port for the web server? Is the web server uding some kind of authentication?
>>We've done the same sort of setup, so, if you have any other specific questions on this, just let me know...

>>>Hello,
>>>
>>>I am setting up a Win2000 Server box to host a web site. My ISP is handling the DNS for my static IP address. The problem I am having is that some people can get to the site and view pages without a problem, but other people, even though they can get to the site through a tracert, can not view the pages on the site. I don't think the browser iteself is a problem as I have had folks using Netscape and IE - various versions of both - access the site without problem. My question is whether there is perhaps a timeout setting somewhere that may be causing a problem; i.e., perhaps it is taking so long to get to the site, that there is a timeout and the page never appears.
