If you try it and it does not return a decimal with it just append it when you retrieve from the recordset (e.g. Col1= "." & rstData.Fields...). ADO does not work standard in this way as all it does is retrieve the data from the source. This is one of the main goals behind ADO is that ADO is not supposed to care what type of data source it is talking to. So if FoxPro contains the decimal and Accses does not ADO is just going to return whatever is there. Not sure if I am just itterating what you alraedy know here but I wasn't quite sure fi you were asking a questio in the last message. :)
