Vozdra, zemljaèe There is also a neat trick if you have only your server on UPS and the workstations lose power - before shutting down the server, you use run VFP or the application itself on the server just to open and close the tables. This way they get regularly closed and their lengths written into FAT and directories. You lose the buffers on the workstations anyway, but the tables don't crash this way. Don't know how it works, and why it works, but it often helps. Pozdrav iz ravnog Banata :)
