When going into FoxFire, immediately after the FoxFire login, I get a long string of letters and numbers with the message "is not properly registered on this computer".

Many thanks for the reply Mark. I believe that is the origination of the problem. I think Doug Hennig has the clue I need. I apologize for being late on the response. I have been on the road since Sunday and just getting the i-net connection going. Thanks again.
