Can anyone explain why the record length of a file created GENDBC is one byte longer than if the file is created in the database designer.

Regards SR

P.S. the record length of the file created in the database designer is correct, whereas the record length of the one created with GENDBC is 1 byte to long, and foxpro pads it with a Hex 00.
