I am fairly certain I was able to do this when we had 8.0.6. How are you trying to connect? Via VFP SQLConnect or SQLStringConnect? If so, try DBQ= instead of Server= in the connect string when using the Oracle ODBC Driver. Use Server= when using the MS ODBC Driver for Oracle.
