(I guess i'm hoping for something like "_print.landscape" that would set the current printer to landscape regardless of what the printer is. Is there anything like this?

This is a tipical property from your report. You must set up this during the editing of your report. At design time just go (at menu) to: File, Page Layout e set the page orientation to landscape.
