Title:
How to prevent folders from opening at login Win NT 4
Hello everyone,
Can someone please help me with this, whenever I login to my Windows NT 4 workstation (with Service Pack 6) I get an explorer window opened into the System32 folder and then it checks twice to see if I have a disk in the floppy drive and I have to click "Abort" three times before the message will stop showing up. I've logged in as different users and all profiles have the same problem. Is there a key or sting that I can change in the registry to stop it automatically opening explorer upon login and also stop it from attempting to find a disk in the floppy drive? I've got the NoSaveSettings dword at "0" so it shouldn't keep the same desktop settings should it? The dword is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Thanks for you help!
