>>That won't help. All you do is transform others into the 'enemy'. Think about it.. Anarchy by definition can be summed up in the phrase, "Every man for himself", and that is no prescription for the problems of society.

>Where did you get that definition? It sounds like you've created a it to fit your needs here.

It's been 'out there' forever...

From http://www.yourdictionary.com/ look up 'anarchy'

Main Entry: an.ar.chy
Pronunciation: 'a-n&r-kE, -"när-
Function: noun
Etymology: Medieval Latin anarchia, from Greek, from anarchos having no ruler, from an- + archos ruler -- more at ARCH-
Date: 1539
1 a : absence of government b : a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority c : a utopian society of individuals who enjoy complete freedom without government
2 a : absence or denial of any authority or established order b : absence of order : DISORDER
3 : ANARCHISM

Anarchy is NOT the presence of order, it is the absence of order. Everyone doing what they think is best.

Are you suggesting that if everyone did what was best that the world would find true peace and happiness? If so I rest my case that weed causes dain bramage... <g>

Or do you just read "The Socialist's Companion Dictionary"? <g>

Sure. It also says "Judas went out and hanged himself" in one location and "Go thou and do likewise" in another? What's your point? That by taking a verse out of context and presuming that everyone else is stupid enough to do the same that that invalidates the text and validates your position? If so, see my reference to 'dain bramage' above... <g>

In the verse you reference Jesus was pointing out the absolute necessity of having one's priorities in their proper order and just how serious it was to get them correct. I would also remind you that this is really all that the Historic Christian position is ultimately about and that if you choose to not get your life's priorities 'right' you will at some point after leaving this sleep we call life and have as an eternal constant reminder that you didn't do what you should have. I'd suggest that time is short Mike. Don't be foolish with the greatest gift you have - choice. See my first tag line... <g>

Anarchy is IMO for selfish, self-centered fools nothing more than a convenient cloak for rationalizing their self-will. It is also different than standing up for what is right, which I'd support in concept, depending on how one defines the particular issue.....
Best,
