I wrote a similar exe. It checks for a later version than the local exe, copies it down, and runs it. The difference I see is that I don't issue the QUIT command. I don't believe that the QUIT command should be necessary. The QUIT command is for ending the current VFP session and isn't necessary for ending an exe.
