Good Idea.
But I did get it to work another way.
All you need to do is. Install the SVG Viewer.
Then add a fieldd to the report file of type general
then use:

append general gfield file c:\xxx.svg

Then place an OLE COntrol/Image on the report refering to this field
and it works...
