I am integrating Crystal Report 8.5 into my VFP6 app, and want to be able to feed the report a user specified printer at run time. The Dev Help says I have to set the printer name, driver and port for the report to accept the settings. I know Fox can give me the name and port thru Aprinters(), but not the driver. I have seen some documentation on going to win.ini for the info, and other info on using the registry. Two questions: Which is better if I can't guarantee the version of windows on the PC (I'm thinking Registry is better)? and -- Where can I find the win32api.hlp that the VFP documentation says that I have so I can figure out what I'm asking the registry for?
