The response was that he's still working on things (its an ongoing process I believe his words were) and that you can't realistcly expect to see VFP listed in such places every single time (though you are encouraged to report the ommisions). Seemed like a pretty honest response to me.

By labeling it as dancing around issues does that mean you expected a simple answer to the issue that will meet the needs of every Fox developer around here summed up in a UT posting? You know exactly what you are asking from the team and why it cannot be achieved in a short amount of time. Get a grip.
