While I haven't tried installing a VFP 5.0 app on XP (yet), I was able to install virtually all versions of FoxPro on XP Pro (FP 2.0 -> VFP 7.0, except for VFP 3.0 - I only used it for learning).
Was the XP box an upgrade, a clean install on an "old" machine, or did it come pre-installed?
