>So, while you didn't use the word you certainly icluded the concept.

Anarchists accept or participate in anarchism of some sort, which is different from the specific social state of anarachy.

>I don't recall me ever suggesting that I think you are a pot-head.

You said something about me being dain bramaged from weed. That looked like you were suggesting something to me.

>Well, I brought it into the conversation to illustrate my point. You seem to be the one having the large reaction so from my vantage point Mike you seem to be the one with the prickly skin right now. <g>

Not really. I just don't think repeating the thread we had last month would be very productive at the moment.

>Like I said, the "do your own thing" philosophy. Hedonsim at its best. Live to satisfy ME!!!!! <g>

You're not even listening to what I'm saying.

>I've been where you are and now I'm here. You've only seen one side of the 'fence', so to speak. How does that make you informed about wmy 'side' of this 'fence'?

Oh, it looks like I should just give up because you're older than mean which obviouslly means your right. Its insulting that you would even bring it up.

Here's how it plays out:

Doug is this youthful lad of 18. He thinks he knows everything and wants to take on the world. When he turns 25 he realized that he didn't know as much as he does now, and now he knows. Ten more years pass and he realizes what a fool he was at 25 to think he knew what he was talking about. He starts to sense a patteren. Finally, in his forties and fifties he finds an answer that allows him to sleep at night, and gives him hope. While the cycle of self improvement is over, he can recollect and see the stages he's gone through in life. He draws the illogical conclusion that everyone goes through the same motions. So he builds a belief on that. That leads us to our conversation.

And you're right, alot of people definitaly go through the same motions, but guess what, Doug, they're all wrong. Take Karl Peterson, when he talks to me, I get the same life story when I read between the lines, the twist is, he is a hard core non-believer. So what do I have: two people with the exact same development through adult hood and two complete opposite endings, and they both expect me to believe they are right because they're older than me. Thats pathetic.

Remeber what we were talking about oringally in this thread, Doug? If you simply build up a nice fantasy and rest of that, you will be left behind.

I've been raised by a religios family. I've seen it. When I was 12 I said "Why do I need to follow the religion my parents follow, that would be too easy, and it would also make me pretty arrogant to just believe that I was lucky to be born into the right place and time to follow the right god." So I shopped around, I checked out what everone else had to say. A whole lot of nothing.

Don't pull this shit again.
