I think your best bet is to download SP1 and use the new 8192 flag in XMLTOCURSOR(). This allows you to use CREATE CURSOR and put the results into that cursor, rather than relying on a schema. Between VFP 7 and ADO.NET there are still significant problems trying to use XML schemas.
