Therefore, i decided to try and send the email through the exchange server, but i keep on getting this error that ActiveX cant create the object. I have the CDO.dll and Mapi32.dll installed. Do you have any idea what might be the problem??

Just a shot in the dark here, but I had a problem similar to this and it was caused by a dll that I didn't have security rights to in the registry. I donwloaded a utility called regmon.exe, fired that up, ran the asp, and regmon told me what dll's were accessed and which ones weren't open to me. Went into regedit32, changed the security settings for those dll's, and everything worked. Don't know if this relates to what you are doing, but if all else fails, it might be worth looking into.
