>I'm a novice user of Visual FoxPro 5.0, and I have no certain idea of how to build an Office-like toolbar. Basically, what I need to do is to run a log-in form. If the password supplied by the user is OK, I need to open a toolbar that gives access to different programs, each one with it's own general screen and menu, then close the form and leave the toolbar open.

Look at Toolbar class. You can use it to add toolbar object to your interface using either Formset.AddObject or CREATEOBJECT().
