>>>I'm a novice user of Visual FoxPro 5.0, and I have no certain idea of how to build an Office-like toolbar. Basically, what I need to do is to run a log-in form. If the password supplied by the user is OK, I need to open a toolbar that gives access to different programs, each one with it's own general screen and menu, then close the form and leave the toolbar open.

Sorry, I don't understand what exactly you mean here. If you want to have separate app containing just one toolbar, it's not a problem.
