That article is largely a bloated and belated statement of the very obvious. I'm not sure whether that says more about the author or the readers.
As for the reference to dBase/Fox: "everybody knows" in the VB camp that VFP is an obsolete dog so we shouldn't be surprised to read about it.
FWIW, it looks as if the latest Refox8 is still written in FPD. Does that mean Refox is a "dog" whose promoters should stop trying to milk it?
