I don't have a definitive answer for you, either but I think that Dave has the right idea with the fact that it has something to do with command.com vs cmd.exe. Hopefully, he'll have more of an answer for you on Monday.

The reason I'm replying to your post, is just to say 'Hey' from a former Marietta resident. I lived in Marietta for 15 years (I moved away in '94) ... well, actually I lived in East Cobb. Do you live in Marietta or just work there?
