Hi all:

I need to create a form with 2 command buttons viz. SCAN and SAVE on it. When clicking the SCAN button I am required to begin scanning a document (using the HP 2200c ScanJet Scanner) that is placed in the scanner. On completion of scanning, when clicking the SAVE button, I must execute code that will save the scanned document to a file on the hard disk. Preferably, this entire scanning process should go on behind the scene if possible.

How do I interact with the HP2200c ScanJet Scanner from my form to get it to scan a document ? How can i detect when a scan has commenced and when it has completed ? How can I save this scanned document to a file ?

Any help rendered in the above will be greatly appreciated.
