>Hello Cathy,
>I'd like to thank you one more time, EXESCRIPT() solved the problem just perfect. Another newbee question if you don't mind. If I want to use UDF where I should store it so I can call from Summary or anywhere else in the report? Store procedure?

Hi Igor,

You can store the UDF in a number of places, the key being that it has to be accessible from the report. You can put it right in the program that calls the report like this:
REPORT FORM MyReport PREVIEW

FUNCTION MyUDF
*Do Something
RETURN MyValue
You can also use a method instead of a UDF. For example, if you have an application object, such as oApp, you can create a method right in the object and then call that from the expression of a Field object, from the On Entry and On Exit expression and even in the Report Variable expressions, as follows:
oApp.MyNewMethod()
The bottom line is that you call it like any other UDF or method so you just have to be sure that's it's available just before you run the report.

Hope this helps,
Cathy
