I have had problems with setting up these activex controls at the client site. Most of the times, they give some sort of usage errors for registration and proper licensing. As I am working on a demo copy which I would like to send to several persons, I am looking for a more fool-proof solution. May be I am not right on my fears. Can you give me more information on it and how to curb such problems?

Wish I could set your fears aside, but there is a bit of overhead involved with
activex. I believe VFP comes with a program that will register an ActiveX control.
Sorry I can't remember its name right now. You might try the on-line documentation.
With this in mind, Just call the program with the name of the control you wish
to register as part of the software install setup.

Aside from these issues, I have found myself using more activex controls than I
though I would just a few months before. If I can avoid it I do. I've created
a foxpro-native progress bar (I think another is provided in the files section
of this forum).
