Hello all,
The new VFP 7 debugger doesn't seem to behave like in previous versions. For instance, to suspend on a click method on VFP 5 we used to simply enter 'click' on the suspend window in the debugger and the program would suspend as soon as we issued the next click, in VFP 7 it requires to enter "click at program function" or something rather. Also, it requires to have to trace window opened so the breakpoints can trigger. We also noticed that if we have a dialog box open in the debugger, this acts as modal window and there is virtually no access to the application; it has to be closed <g>.
We are supporting a large application and our plan is to migrate it to VFP 7, but we're finding that we're spending too much time how the 'new' debugger behaves.
Is there any way to make it work or behave the way it used to be in VFP 5?
Thanks in advance for your help.
