Dunno, but I'll bet yag will find out. <g> It could stem from the language or perhaps VFP is the way it is because of folks like Tom Rettig or perhaps the VFP community is the way it is because of all the grief we've taken from vendors over the years (A-T, Nantucket, Arago, etc..).
