I have actually seen Cobol .NET code. It is weird to see the different divisons (Data, Environment, etc) in a .NET module. The Fujitsu Cobol stuff actually received play at the 2 day .NET road show...
I laugh to myself every time I think about it. The question is, what I am actually laughing at????

Actually, I am very happy to have spent the last few years working on a VFP/SQL Server ap... if the VFP experience doesn't do me any good, I know the SQL Server experience will.

No doubt there. And, depending on how you worked things with VFP - that experience will help too...
