Have you changed the base dbf layout, since you created the view? >>>What does that mean? I get the message when I requery the view in my program. I can't seem to get rid of it. >>> >>>Thanks in advance. >> >>Try removing the grid from the Form's DE, Opening the grid in the VIEW designer (at this point note if VFP gives you any strange messages, if it does, fix the view and save it) and re-adding the view to the form. If this doesn't solve the problem, post agian and be more specific about when you receive this message. HTH > >I assume you were asking me to remove the view from the DE. I have done that and even close VFP to reload everything. In view designer, I can run the query without any problem. > >I get the error whenever I requery the parameterized view. Take note that the view is not the recordsource of the grid. It is a separate view that is not attached to any object in the form. I use the view to get certain results only. Originally, I had a requery in a Keypress event in a grid. I had the error. Then I moved it to Load method of the form, I also got the error. It didn't seem to have anything to do with where I put it. > >By the way, thanks for offering the help. I must be down with luck, getting all kinds of strange problems recently. I have never experienced this problem, and not been able to solve it by removing, closing opening, and adding the grid back in. Are you at any time issuing any CURSORSETPROP() statements in the form? Does the view run in other forms?
