>I attempted to reinstall VFP7 on my development PC at home last night and ran into an interesting situation. After placing the VFP7 CD in the drive, the setup screen appeared, but when I clicked on the Install Visual FoxPro link, Norton Antivirus (version 8.00.58) detected a "Malicious Script" in the file G:\vfpstart.hta. Sounds pretty scary and I was hesitant to allow the script to proceed although it seems unlikely that a virus could have gotten onto the VFP7 CD. I guess I just need someone to reassure me that I can ignore the Norton warning and proceed with the reinstall.
If G: is your CD-ROM drive, I would think that you can safely ignore Norton's message. A link to D:\ENGLISH\VFP70\VFPSTART.HTA appears in my Recent documents folder. D: is my CD-ROM drive. You can probably check out the contents on the CD by simply inserting the VFP 7.0 CD and opening it in notepad.
