I have a textbox on a form and I've set its Backstyle property to 0-Transparent. This works as expected when I'm designing the form, however, when I run the form, it is no longer transparent!

I discovered this problem when I set the form's picture property to a bitmap and saw that all of the textboxes were behaving as "1-Opaque" and not Transparent as I'd specified.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why and if there is a way to get a transparent textbox at runtime?
