Yes, I tried using that one as well. As you say, it has quirks in Win2K and is no longer supported - too many quirks for me to deal with. I went to it after being frustrated with Communicate32 for similar reasons - even when I went out of my way to replace my modem with one from their 'supported modems' list.
That, plus the expense of getting a new phone line into my home-office (they woulda had to re-wire all the way up to the 13th floor) convinced me to go with e-fax. I'm sure the other phone-fax services are fine, too - as long as I don't need to buy hardware, upgrade software, fuss with tech support, microphones....
Wow - I forgot how painful it was!

>If you can get ahold of it, Talkworks Pro by Symantec is the one to use. I am still using it, although it is out of production and sometimes is a bit finicky in Win2K. I think it came with some of the older versions of Winfax (but not sure), so if you have an older CD, you might check for that.
>As a side note, I'm disappointed that Symantec discontinued this product as it was wonderful for my home office! Does anyone else use a product for voicemail on their computers?

"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so Brain, but "Snowball for Windows"?
