“There are a lot of eminent scientists now involved in this field and they wouldn’t be if there wasn’t anything to it”.
Jeff;
I worked with many eminent scientists at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory on theories that seemed ridiculous and proved to be absurd. What was most important to these Ph.D.’s was that funding (government budget or grant) was in effect. Money is the true driving force to such ventures and when it is gone these eminent scientists are off on a new venture.
My physics professor was also head of Lawrence Hall of Science at U.C. Berkeley. He did super conductivity experiments trying to produce electricity in a zero resistance environment (perpetual motion). I could write a short paper on that event! You would not believe it! What he did manage to do was to suspend the larvae of a fly (that lowly insect) using super conductivity and a magnet, for a six-month interval. At the end of the experiment the fly larva was allowed to hatch and was released. If you ever see a dizzy fly you know why! All those lines of force (mmf for the engineers and physicists) will cause this effect. :)
