>Can someone bring some light on the difference between C# and C-Sharp. I had the assumption that the move from VC++ was to C#. Isn't it the same thing as C-Sharp?

C# is pronounced C-Sharp. They are the same thing.
The move was not from VC++ to C# though.
C# is a new language (a way to compete with Java). VC is still there in managed and unmanaged code.
