What does APRINTERS return in Win98, exactly?
The reason I am asking is because I'd like to try it on my XP system and see if I get the same behavior.
>I use aPrinters and dropdown control to get a list of printers on our network. 2 of the printers are local printers attached to specific pcs in our network. Using aPrinters on My Windows 98 machine, all printers installed on my pc appear in my dropdown combo control (including the printers local to another pc on the network. When I run the same program on a Windows XP machine, I see the name of the printer in the dropdown list but I cannot select it because it is disabled (grayed out). Why is this?
