Also not trying to be rude, but perhaps if you were willing to spend a little money on your own education, you'd be able to find a job that pays better. Good books (and I'll let others judge whether mine fit into that category), in particular, can have a tremendous return on investment. How much do you have to learn from a $40 book before it pays for itself.
As for making me money, not much. The amount authors earn on technical books, even writing for Hentzenwerke, which has one of the most generous policies around, is small.
