I assume that you're using VFP 6.0 or earlier and the setup wizard. If so, what you need to do is create a post-setup executable to handle this task. If your situation is such that you can't rely on the Windows Script Host being available, I'd suggest my Lnkfiles.dll (Shortcut Link Files). It comes with documentation in Fox code showing how to use it. You can simply copy and paste the code from the help file.

If the WSH is available, you'll still need a post-setup executable, but not my dll. Details on using the WSH to do this can be found in the October, 2000 issue of the VFUG newsletter, in the series that Ed Rauh and I wrote on the WSH. It's available on-line at www.vfug.org.
