What must be done to change the datasource on an existing report from an ODBC VFP DBC table to an ADO Recordset.

Example: the form was created using a VFP table Customer (contained within a DBC). What I wish to do is to create an ADO recordset with only a few of the customer table records during runtime and then open the report and change the datasource for the Customer table to be the ADO recordset.

I am trying to understand how Crystal SetDataSource method works and it does not appear to be as simple as I thought it should be. I am using Crystal 8.0 and VFP 6.0.
