>Paul, I can't speak for Microsoft, but it's my opinion that they found almost everyone with VFP was doing development work - and needed the Professional edition. End users don't need a copy, since they can use an EXE provided by the developer. Relatively few end-users actually use VFP (command box). I have only 2 end-users that can even re-index a file or call up a browse screen with any reliability. None of the others have any need for VFP at all.
