Macros are a misnomer. A remnant from the past. They are actually VBA programs.
Yes, they can carry a virus, like most programming languages. But here I am not saying that you create and use a VBA program (macro). Just to use the recorder to grab your keystrokes so you can learn how to write Excel automation code in VFP.
